Welcome to Archwood Green Barns in The Plains, Virginia’s gateway to horse country. Our farmers’ market has been in operation on Sundays for 23 years in 2021!

We will safely open for the 2021 market season on May 2nd. Regular market season runs through November 21st, on Sundays. Our farmer’ market will be held in the large barn and the adjacent parking lot. On November 28th, some vendors will move into the barn, and new seasonal vendors will join for the Holiday Markets. Our very last market of the year will be held on December 19th.

Come enjoy a unique Sunday farmer’s market destination in Northern Virginia, rich in history and Virginia-Grown bounty. For the history of Archwood Green Barns, read Broad Run Lifestyle AW Green Barns article June 2016

Just 8 miles west of Haymarket, on I-66, it’s close enough for a day trip for folks living in DC-VA-MD! Roam the indoor vendor stalls in the historic horse barn and browse outdoor vendor tents to find wholesome ingredients for a week of healthful meals and artisan gift items. Ask all the questions you like….the people selling the products are the ones who made it. We are producer-only, and proud of it!

Weather doesn’t have to play a factor with one of the few indoor markets in the area. And the variety of wonderful items will keep you coming back. Fruits, vegetables, baked goods, goat cheese, meats & seafood (fresh and frozen) are all available for the perfect locavore meal.

We have just about everything you could be looking for, and items that you may have never expected! Flowers, olive oil, coffee, teas, artisan body-care, kombucha, made-to-order hot foods, artisan gifts, dog treats and so very much more to browse through and enjoy! Bring the family and spend some time together. We look forward to seeing you at Archwood Green Barns!

ATTENTION: We are safely open as a pedestrian market, outside and inside the big barn. Please maintain 6 feet distance from other shoppers.

Thank you for your flexibility and stay safe!
